    Furniture Covers

    • As hard as you and your movers try to take care of your items, accidents are not entirely avoidable. If you can, buy quilted covers with heavy padding. These furniture covers protect your items from damage caused by, falling objects, dust, or any other causes of damage.

    Extra Boxes and Tape

  • Pouch Happening – Anaheim Self Storage

One of our tenants came in to unload her stuff.   We noticed that she would hold the door of her truck with one hand and use the other hand to pull her things out.  This was quite struggle for her.  After seeing her do this twice, one of us went out and asked her why is she doing this?  She said that while loading her stuff the door broke and she plans to get this fixed after she unloaded her stuff.  So we loaned her our ladder. She was very thankful that we’re observant and always ready to help and made unloading for her as easy as it should be!

  • Strategies for Safely and Efficiently Storing Your Goods

Storage units are a great way to free up space in your home or office, and allows you to set aside items used every once in a while. However, efficiency and safety are crucial when storing your belongings. You can follow these two strategies to ensure that your stored items will be secure and easy-to-find in the future:

    Plastic Storage Container Bin

    Pack with Caution

    • Styrofoam dish spacers, found at any POUCH Self Storage facility, are excellent to use when storing fragile items, but you can also use alternating layers of print paper and bubble wrap also located at any POUCH Self Storage facility. For an extra layer of protection, try placing small items in a desk or dresser drawer rather than a cardboard box. You can also fill the rest of the drawer space with clothes, hats, or even shoes.

    Label Everything

    • Clearly mark or label every box placed in storage, and consider arranging them in an easy-to-remember layout, such as expensive items in the corners, delicate items on top, and items you intend to access often in front. Consider making a list of where everything is and leave it in the storage unit for easy access.

At POUCH Self Storage, the safety and security of your stored items are very important to us. That’s why we protect every storage units with an individual alarm, and offer other moving services (add storing “Moving and Storage Services“.  Making it as Easy as it Should Be” to help you safely transport and store your items. • Pouch Happening – Victoria Self Storage – BBQ Weather is here!

    top view of BBQ sticks

It’s 6:55 p.m. on a Friday night & Tulsi is rushing to close up by 7:00 p.m. – A neighbor (& past customer) comes in and says “Oh please, I need propane & I need it now!”  “No problem” says Tulsi – we all know what a bummer it is when you run out of propane half way thru your B-B-Q.

Last night another neighbor came in about 5:50 with the same emergency, and he had 2 tanks to fill. “No problem”, said Tulsi – looks like B-B-Q weather is finally here.  Hooray!
